The fructose content in the sample is in direct proportion to the absorbance change of the enzymatic reaction product. The concentration of fructose can be calculated by measuring the rising absorbance of NADPH at the special wavelength. Zero/Extremely low content shows that the patient may have absence of seminal vesicle or ejaculatory duct blockage problems. Decreased content shows that the patient may have epididymitis or androgen
deficiency problems.
